Summer days are consistent with sunshine, bbq and outdoor activities. There are so many exciting things that go on during the summer season. On the flip side, most of us tend to want to keep our beauty and hair routines as easy as possible. Since we do spend a lot of time outdoors, and have that more casual energy about us, fussy hair doesn’t sound like that much fun (at least, not to us). The good news is you can show off your easy summer hair with some of these tips and ideas…
Work With Your Natural Texture
So many of us spend time altering the natural texture of our hair. If you have curly hair, you likely spend a great deal of time trying to get it wavy or straight. If you have straight hair, you probably spend a lot of time trying to get your hair wavy or curly. It’s a cycle that we’ve all spend a lot of time, energy and resources on. But truly, one of the best ways to keep your hair routine easy AND stylish this season is to work with your hair’s natural texture. Not only is this time saving, but it also helps you to not feel like you have to fight the weather elements. While it may seem odd to actually just allow your hair to be in its natural texture, we have a feeling you’re going to enjoy it a lot more than you think-especially because it’s SO easy.
An Easy, Updated Ponytail
Ponytails are perfect hair styles to rock during the summer season. They’re incredibly easy to create, and they help to keep your hair out of your face and off your neck in the heat. While a traditional ponytail is great and always a classic look, this summer you can add a little extra style without a lot of additional effort. Styling your hair into a braid that secures into the ponytail will instantly transform your favorite ponytail style. Braids can be done in French braids or loose braids that are tied back, either on the top of your head or underneath the ponytail. There are so many options and variations you can work with that will keep it looking different, but also keep your hair style easy to achieve.
Hair accessories are highly underrated when styling your hair, if you ask us. Between headbands, hats and scarves there are so many options to change up your hair style even when it’s something as simple as a ponytail. This summer, try adding in some hair accessories to keep your hair styles easy and not have to sacrifice style. Like wearing your hair in a low ponytail? Keep it in the low ponytail but add a scarf to your hair. It’s the same look, but with the accessory added in it looks like something entirely different.
