Gosh. You know how it is right? When you are just going along your day, with your long hair as fabulous as always, and something comes up. Yes, by something we are talking about your hair rising up to the ceiling piece by piece, thanks to none other than static electricity. But hey, it’s no big deal, you have tons of elastics within reach, so to combat the static force field taking over, you’ll just throw it up.
- You pull your hair back, with your elastic on your wrist, at the ready.
- You wrap your elastic once.
- You wrap your elastic twice.
- And because your ponytail is still too loose, you go to wrap it a third time… Okay, maybe not a third time, because it’s too tight. So, you settle.

Do You Like Spiders?

Puddle Prevention
It is important to start off by saying that you should always prepare yourself with two towels before taking a shower. If not, you will be drying you body off with a towel that is soaked from your hair! That being said, there are times when you are visiting family or friends, and forget to grab that extra towel. Word to the wise, you will need to spend a few extra minutes wringing out your hair, prior to getting out of the shower so you down create a puddle on the floor!
Blow Dryers…
You start to feel bad when you’ve made it through two or three blow dryers in a year. Not only do you burn out the blow dryers, but what’s worse is some of them didn’t even reach their full potential before their final days, because frankly, leaving the house with damp hair will become the norm; there just isn’t enough time in the day to get it all dry!
Zippers are NOT Your Friend
When you are in a rush, make a commitment to yourself not to rush putting on your jacket. Those with long hair are all too familiar with the teeth of zippers eating up hair like it the last supper. Ouch!
Keep the Windows Up
Seriously, for those who are considering growing their hair out, take this bit of advice: do not roll your windows down, especially when you have lip gloss on.
