Summer is coming to an end, which means fall is on its way! Before you get too bummed remember all the fun things that come along with the fall season. Football season is one of those fun activities we all have to look forward to during the fall. If you’re planning to be a spectator at football games this fall, we know you’re going to want to look and feel your best! Our hair tends to take a backseat when sitting outside in the chilly (or brutally cold, at times) weather while enjoying a football game from the seats. To make sure you’re well prepared for the season, we’ve gathered up some fun hairstyles that hold up in football weather. So you’ll be stylish AND functional!
Pigtail Braids
Braids are everywhere right now, which is perfect for football weather! When you’re sitting outside during the fall/winter months chances are you’re going to want a hat. You also probably want to keep your hair as tamed from the wind and other weather conditions as possible, right? The good news is pigtail braids are the perfect hair style for these occasions. Pigtail braids allow you to keep all of your hair tied back, out of your face so it won’t be blowing around and get knotted and it looks just as great with a hat as it does without.
Half-up Hairstyle
We know there are going to be times you don’t want to have ALL of your hair pulled back, because we all want options with our hair styles! Another great hair style for football season is to try a half up hair style. The great part about half up hair styles is you can really style them to accommodate your hair length and texture however you need to. Whatever texture you like for your hair, half up styles can be added to the mix to tie back some of the hair closest to your face so it’s not totally out of control during the weather. Plus, they’re also a really stylish way to wear your hair and it’s hard to find a hair style that’s easier to incorporate into your look. If you want to change it up again, try a half up bun.
Baseball Hat Braid
Baseball hats are great for keeping your hair protected from any weather elements during the football season. Basically, when your hair is under a baseball hat you don’t have to worry about it at all but sometimes you want something a little different. One of our new favorite ways to change up your hair when wearing a baseball hat is to style a ponytail with the hair coming out of the hole in the back of the hat. We know, that’s not revolutionary but stay with us for a minute. Instead of just leaving the ponytail how you normally would, add a braid to a section of the ponytail (not the entire ponytail). It’s a unique way to add some style to an otherwise basic hair style.
