Disney movies have a way of bringing out the kid in all of us. No matter how old we get, reminiscing about your favorite Disney characters is always a fun time. Many young girls grew up admiring the Disney princesses and hoping to be princesses themselves one day. We’re all about feeling like a kid again, which is why we thought it would be fun to discover hair care inspired by your favorite Disney characters. Who said you can’t be a princess when you’re an adult? We certainly never have!
Pocahontas
Pocahontas was always known for her stunningly simple hair. She was a Disney princess that had the least amount of fuss to her hair, and we love it! Pocahontas proved that you can be and look like a princess with a super simple hair style. Since her hair was always worn very straight, style your hair as straight as possible to achieve this look! Make use of straightening products in your hair to help you achieve a very straight look, but keep the part pretty care free because that’s how Pocahontas would do it! The bonus? Super sleek, straight hair is incredibly trendy right now so you’ll be channeling one of your favorite Disney characters as well as incorporating a hair trend that’s everywhere right now.

Beauty and the Beast
Belle has regained her popularity with the live version of Beauty and Beast hitting theatres this year. She always had that classic hair style that looked so effortless. One of our favorite ways to create a hair style that’s similar, modern but inspired by Belle herself is pretty easy to create! Separating your hair into two sections, create braids that start at your forehead and work their way to the ends of your hair (they don’t have to be French braids). Once you’ve created the braids and left a few face framing pieces near your face simply tie all the hair back and together in a low ponytail. It’s kind of like the modern take on the hair style because braids are such a huge trend right now. For the final touch, you can add a trendy hair bow as well!

Minnie Mouse
Ok, we know Minnie isn’t exactly known as a Disney princess but she’s an infamous Disney character! Lately, a big hair trend has been pigtail buns and it made us realize…that hair style is definitely pulling some inspiration from Minnie Mouse herself! It’s a subtle way to incorporate some Disney inspiration into your hair, but similar to the other looks we mentioned above it’s also trending right now. So if you’re feeling like you need a little pick me up and want to feel a bit playful try creating some pigtail buns to your hair and you’ll have to have a smile on your face!
Honestly, we think the main hair care tip we’ve realized from our search on looking for some hair inspiration is that you can feel like a Disney princess or whatever character you want with looks that are much simpler than you realize.
